Everglades National Park

First trip to Everglades NP provided me with the opportunity to photograph a Crocodile. This guy was pretty darn big. The sign nearby said no swimming allowed, as if they really need to tell people to stay out? While observing this guy I listened to a Ranger giving information to a family, when he finished he looked at me and said hey I know you from somewhere, short version, he is a ranger in summer in Denali NP. This has happened to me in several different National Parks, guess I must travel quite a bit??? One last note, this is being posted on a borrowed netbook computer so have no idea how the picture looks, and may be a while before posting an update.

This Whitetail Buck was keeping an eye on another smaller buck just out of the picture. This time of year the Velvet has been shed from the antlers and their coats are much prettier than in summer.
