Bighorn Sheep

Before leaving Montana we made a drive up to Logan Pass in Glacier National Park for these Bighorn Sheep. We arrived in Hyder, AK yesterday and as always in a rainforest it’s raining, well to be more precise it’s pouring. Spent most of yesterday and today at the Bear Viewing platform on Fish Creek. Not many bears as the salmon are arriving later than usual. To backtrack we camped in Glacier and had a herd of Big Horn Sheep playing in a snowfield at Logan Pass. On up to the Canadian Rockies we had a Lynx cross the highway, as usual it was a quick glance before it disappeared. Great wildlife along the road trip, Moose, Elk, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Wolf, Lynx, Black Bear, Grizzlies, not all were photo ops. Extremely slow internet in Hyder.

  1. Hi Guys,
Great sheep shot…I’ve only seen goats up there. I was going to give you grief about having time to post, but since it’s raining…a pass. You got my attention with the Lynx sighting…very cool. Looking forward to more postings. Have Fun.
