This is going to hurt

Browning Rodeo
Browning, Montana is East of Glacier National Park and every July it hosts a Rodeo as well as the North American Indian Days PowWow. To photograph a Rodeo successfully one needs to use a high shutter speed as well as taking a burst of photos to capture the moment that shows the “action”. Photographing is the easy part, riding these broncs takes a lot of skill and toughness. I always wonder how these cowboys can take the beating week after week, they obviously really love the sport.

Tad, I had a blast photographing the Rodeo and PowWow last weekend. Looking at the Horse Show in Kalispell next weekend, or the Western Days at Grant Kohrs Ranch, maybe both. Something different to work with.

Thanks Vicki, although I have been slacking lately on taking photos. If Jim ever decides to give Rodeo one last try I’ll be there with the camera.
